Bill Slot
I am born and raised in Owen Sound, Ontario and live there with my partner Krista. We are proud parents of 4 adult children and proud grandparents of a grandson.
I have a passion for numbers and attention to detail. I suppose that is why I have had a career in public and private computer programming, accounting and software support that has spanned over 30 years. I have worked for the Ministry of Transportation in the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll Departments before going back to school to take a Computer Programmer/Analyst diploma. I have travelled across Canada providing training on Mutual Fund software to supporting the Grey County computer network and Great Plains accounting software. In my current role as a Research Specialist at Bluewater District School Board, my inherit attention to detail is even stronger and my problem-solving skills are tested daily with reporting to various stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education. Every student must be accounted for!
This brings us to the current business being started with my business partner Sylvie. We both have a passion for accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness for reporting. We believe that small business, the self-employed and individuals like us, are entitled to affordable professional financial services. During the current inflation and costs of commodities rising, we are looking for ways to help your business reduce costs and provide our services at reasonable rates.
